MWAMBASHI LOWER ZAMBEZI NATIONAL PARK - ZAMBIA

Mwambashi River Lodge accommodates 16 guests in East African style safari tents built on raised wooden platforms. Each unit has an en-suite shower, toilet and handbasin and all have private

balconies offering superb views over the Zambezi River. Mwambashi is renowned for its fine cuisine and service. Guests enjoy meals in a central thatched dining area, which is complemented by a beautiful sunken bar. Overlooking the river and adjacent to the main complex is a raised balcony which is ideal for sundowners and relaxing during the heat of the day.

Mwambashi's unique location within the Lower Zambezi National Park makes it the ultimate Zambezi safari destination, offering guests the greatest wildlife viewing opportunities. The park is home to large herds of elephant and buffalo and a high concentration of lion. The impressive diversity of birdlife within the valley makes it an ornithologists paradise.

The tiger fishing on this section of the river is world famous. Expert guides offer both traditional spinning as well as fly fishing excursions. Apart from sundowner cruises and short canoe safaris, the lodge also offers walking trails, fishing safaris and day and night safaris within the national park.
