DAILY DEPARTURES
DAY ONE, TWO & THREE – Okavango Delta, Botswana
You are met at Maun Airport and transferred by air to Kwetsani Camp.
Three nights at Kwetsani, full board basis, and including scheduled safari activities, local brand drinks.
Kwetsani Camp is a five roomed luxury tented camp located in a private reserve 25km to the west of Mombo and to the west of the Moremi Game Reserve. The large elongated island on which Kwetsani is built is heavily wooded, cool and shady with Palm, Mangosteen and Fig trees and is one of the most remote camps in the entire Okavango Delta.
Kwetsani Camp is raised on stilts beneath a shady canopy. Five wonderful, spacious tree-house chalets are built under thatch roofs, with wood, glass and a little canvas. All have en-suite facilities including a shower, flush toilet, twin basins and an additional outdoor shower for those who like showering in the open air. The camp overlooks an enormous floodplain dotted with Lechwe and Wildebeest. Guests can lie in their rooms, or in the pool, and watch the animals in front of the camp. All the Okavango’s large predators are found here.
Activities include mokoroing, walking on palm-fringed islands and game drives during the day and night. Due to high flood water levels, the night drives are currently restricted to an hour’s drive around the camp island. In the height of the Okavango’s annual floods, boats are used to get around the area and also to transfer to the islands where the game viewing vehicles are located. Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Buffalo and Elephant are all found in this area, as well as good concentrations of Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and all the plains game.
ACTIVITIES
50% Game Drives and 50% Water Activities (but very much dependant on flood levels). In the summer months activities tend more towards game drives, whereas in the winter months mainly water based activities are offered.
. Land game drives in open 4 x 4 Land Rovers – the camp has 3 x 10 seater Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of seven guests, allowing all guests an outside seat. In times of high water guests are transferred by boat to game drive areas.
. Night drives with spotlight.
. Private vehicles available on request.
. Walking safaris can be offered from camp on a request basis.

DAY FOUR & FIVE – Moremi, Botswana
After your morning activity and breakfast you will be transferred by light aircraft to Chitabe Camp. Spend two nights at Chitabe, full board basis, and including scheduled safari activities, local brand drinks.
Chitabe Camp is a luxurious eight-roomed, tented camp built on one of the most beautiful islands in the Okavango Delta. It is situated in a private area in the south east of the Okavango Delta, which borders the Moremi Game Reserve. The Chitabe area is a combination of open floodplains, wooded islands and lagoons – which sets the scene for a wide variety of wildlife.
Accommodation consists of eight spacious East African style tents built on elevated wooden decks, beneath a lush tree canopy. Each tented room has en-suite facilities with flush toilets and both outdoor and indoor showers. Hot showers are guaranteed anytime of day or night. The thatched dining area, lounge and pub are also raised on decks overlooking the surrounding flood plains.
A pool allows guests to cool off from the heat of the day. Activities consist of day and night game drives in open 4×4 vehicles accompanied by an experienced guide. Nature walks, tailor made to suit the guests, are also offered. Game viewing is good, and includes Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Reedbuck, Giraffe, Impala, Zebra, Buffalo and Hippo. Depending on the time of year, Wild Dogs are also resident in the area. Night drives can be very rewarding, with good sightings of the rarer nocturnal animals.
One of the biggest assets Chitabe has to offer is its friendly and outstanding staff. Most of the staff working at Chitabe have been there since its inception seven years ago and it is this pride and loyalty that gives Chitabe its amazing atmosphere. It is without a doubt the “Soul of the Delta” and we would like to invite you to experience our little oasis.
DAY SIX & SEVEN – Savuti, Botswana
After your morning activity and breakfast you will be transferred by light aircraft to Savuti Camp, where you will spend two nights, full board basis, and including scheduled safari activities, local brand drinks.
Savuti Camp is situated in the Linyanti Reserve along the Savuti Channel in northern Botswana. The camp is built about 17 kilometres “downstream” from the source of the Savuti. The channel stopped flowing in 1980 and what was a Hippo-filled river, is now wide, open grasslands.
Savuti Camp is a comfortable camp providing accommodation in 7 large walk-in tented rooms with en-suite facilities. Five of the bathrooms are within the tents and two tents have bathrooms with wonderful open fronts facing onto the Savuti Channel.
Each room is raised off the ground on wooden decks. The camp has a thatched dining area, pub and plunge pool, all on raised wooden decks. There is a waterhole close to camp and this attracts large numbers of animals that guests can view from the camp.
Activities include game drives in open 4×4 Land Rovers, hides, night drives and walks with an armed guard. Game in the area includes all of Botswana’s big game, and is one of the best areas in the country to see predators.
DAY EIGHT, Victoria falls, Zambia
After your morning activity and breakfast you will be transferred by light aircraft to Livingston airport, with a short stop at Kasane to clear Customs and border post formalities.
Upon landing at Livingston airport you will be met and transferred to the Zambezi Sun Hotel on the Zambian side of the Falls. Overnight, bed & breakfast basis
